Simply Irresistible

Not because of what they are, but because they are today's, a rarity in supermarkets!

  2. No, Sig, what I meant was that we don't find today's product today, it's always at least four days old. This one has 4 March written on it, see?

That being said, I once found some pack with the following month's date of packing on it!!!

  3. Really! I saw them plenty in Bangalore bakeries but few I tried were pretty oily and over fried. Some were really really good, I love Chaklis.

  4. Oh, you are talking about date. We are lucky to get month old products here, we grab it anyway. We are pretty desperate!:D

  5. Ah got it :) I was so confused thinking murkku is extinct in India now ;) You might want to rotate that pic. BTW, it is interesting that they printed the month, but the date is written with a pen. :)

  6. My favorite snack! I'm getting some home-made murukkus from India next week, can't wait.

  7. I got what you were saying Sra and yes, those dates can be deceptive here too, especially on meats. Which is why I never buy meat from supermarkets out here.
