What a coincidence! Even my picture of the day is pineapple, a baby pineapple!
Really, first time? :) Congrats, not bad work Sra!
During my MS here, I used work in our school dinning hall, that where I learnt how to cut a pineapple for the first time! :). You trim off the leaves first, hold on top, slide through the knife to remove the skin. (lengthwise) then cut in half, vertically & then into smaller chunks. :D.Siri
Looks, ahem, like a bit of a massacre. I would do the same. There's a tool for this, but how much occasional-use steel can you buy and store?
The secret to cutting a pineapple: a super sharp knife.
