A Study in Shadow
That is perhaps a grandiose headline for a photo that is not of great quality or finesse but I impressed myself with even the mere idea - the actual sight was more yellow than is reflected here as there's a big yellow light just nearby, captured earlier in this post. And yes, you can see me in this photo too!

For a minute I though the shadow was on a body of water till I clicked the link and realized it was a road. Nice shadows.
ReplyDeletegood one.
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it! Especially the color! Sometimes, concept is what is the essence of beauty in a picture (rather than the the resolution or other technicalities).
ReplyDeleteJaya, it isn't a road, it's my Uncle's house, those are (cracked) stone slabs the front yard is covered with.
ReplyDeleteRachel, thanks.
Musy, that philosophy is just what I needed, thanks.
Musy has put it very well. It is a great capture and this time I actually see you, took me a while though! Reminds me of the shadow puppet game we used to play... This was how we did two dogs fighting, for a camera that is :)
